Safe pressures depend entirely on the tubes being used. As an example, nylon tube will always burst away from the coupling.
These types of coupling are best suited to half hard copper tubing, but are also suitable for use on soft or hard copper tubing. They will withstand pressures greater than those in BS2051 Parts 1 and 2. As a guide, however, experience has shown them safe when used on liquids as given:
