Shopping with Cotswold Engineering Supplies
Our Website uses a market leading secure payment system, PayPal Website Payments Pro. PayPal offers all of the security measures you would expect in dealing with one of the world's major companies; it also incorporates the additional MasterCard "MasterCard Securecode" and Visa "Verified by Visa" additional security systems. At checkout you are transferred via a secure server to either PayPal Express Checkout or PayPal Website Payments Pro, a 128bit SSL encrypted secure page where you complete your order by providing your credit or debit card details. Your browser encrypts the information that you type and the PayPal server decodes it. Systems which encrypt potentially sensitive information by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology provide the best possible protection on the internet. You can identify that you are on a secure site when the padlock appears at the bottom of the screen.
All card details are encrypted using 128-bit encryption; they are not held in clear text on any Website. When you choose to pay online, your card details will not be available to our staff. Your card details are input into the PayPal secure site and we do not have access to them at any time. Your card and address details are security checked and verified with the relevant card issuer and your payment is pre-authorised. You will receive a message in your internet browser window to tell you that payment has been authorised, and we will receive confirmation from the payment provider.
However, if you would prefer not to send your credit or debit card details over the internet, you are still able to choose the goods you require using our shopping cart facility. At checkout after entering your address details you simply choose your preferred payment option, payment by credit card, PayPal, or cheque. We would be delighted to take payment for your order by telephone. We are open, 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 12pm Saturday on: 01684 298786.
Yes. Payment may be made by personal cheque using our Shopping Cart facility. Follow the instructions in the shopping cart and after checkout simply write to us at Cotswold Engineering Supplies, Dairy Way, Northway Lane, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire GL20 8JE, quoting your Order ID and enclosing a sterling pound cheque drawn on a UK bank account made payable to "Cotswold Engineering Supplies". Please ensure that you write your name, address and order ID on the reverse of the cheque. Please note that Goods will not be despatched until payment by personal cheque has cleared.
The cost of postage and packing starts at £5.00 for small orders and is dependant on the weight and size of the item, for larger quantities of small items it is £9.00 per order up to the weight and size limit for a small packet for items to England, Wales and Southern Scotland. If the weight or size is over the limit for our Small packet then they are sent via the Standard packet which costs £13.00 per order.
Orders shipped to Scottish Highlands and Islands will cost £14.00, and Orders to Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man will cost £18.00.
Order value over £350 (before VAT) will be shipped FREE of charge.
We currently only ship to UK addresses.
We commit to dispatching your order, if placed before 12.00pm, that very same working day. If we cannot dispatch it, this will only be because we are unexpectedly out of stock of an item. On this occasion, we will email you with the availability and updated delivery. If you want we can part-ship your order. If we cannot contact you, or if you so choose, we will refund you immediately for the item we cannot supply. We make every effort to ensure that your order is despatched in a timely manner and gets to you as quickly as possible.
We use a Courier Service. which usually takes 2 to 3 days in the UK.

If you are unsure about a product you wish to purchase you can call or email our customer service team who would be very happy to advise you. Samples of certain stock items may be available. Please email us with your details and we will let you know if we can supply you with a sample. We are always happy to talk through purchase decisions with customers and to recommend the best products for them.

No, all prices are shown ex VAT, which will be calculated at the current rate on the order including Carriage and added to the total. This is shown on the Shopping Cart. It is also shown on the Basket total on each page, so you can see how much your order will cost.
Yes, we offer discounts to people and companies that wish to purchase large volumes of products. We can supply on contracts, or on a one-off basis. Just call 01684 298786 and we will be pleased to quote you on the products you require.
