New and improved industry leading tyre inflator from PCL - the AIRFORCE® MK4 Tyre Inflator. With a new, modern slim line body design the gauge is now lighter yet more ergonomic to give increased comfort in use.
- Larger window gives 20% greater field of viewing
- Gauge body weighs 923g, less work strain and easier for repetitive use
- Ergonomic, easier to use and less prone to damage when dropped
- Simplified 2 stage mechanism design prevents user having to "push" against full line pressure on deflate preventing fatigue
- New design, less drag, reduced friction & less movement inertia means no internal corrosion, no sticking and no skewing of accuracy
- Tested to over 400,000 cycles at 100% accuracy, meets EC 86/217 and compliant with EN12645:2014

The vibrations caused in the use of air tools make a coupling connection subject to Health & Safety Regulations.
See ISO 4414:1998 and EN 983:1996 for safety requirements covering the installation and use of pneumatic equipment.
The Government's Heath and Safety Executive has been produced a guide (HSG39) which covers the use of pneumatic equipment.

The Health & Safety Executive Guide HSG39 states "requirements for quick acting couplings apply to most percussive and vibrating air tools, which may be fixed or hand held. If a quick acting coupling socket is fitted at the hose end adjacent to the tool, the plug should not be screwed directly into the inlet port but should be fitted onto a short isolation hose (0.5m to 1.5m long), thus isolating the plug and socket from the tool vibration."
The International Standard (ISO 6150:1998) recommends a minimum of 300mm of flexible hose to be used between a vibrating tool and a quick acting coupling.
