Easy to use push-in connectors
for airline ring main
The John Guest range of push-in fittings provide the ideal connection from compressor receiver to air line service components through to complete ring main and take off points. Using the John Guest system a compressed air ring main can be installed quickly and easily, considerably reducing the need for specialist staff and providing much reduced production down time.
No need to prepare threaded pipe or apply solvent, all the connections can be made with a simple push-in action. The system is then immediately ready for use. Because the John Guest system is so easy to disconnect, alterations and extensions can be achieved with a minimum of production shutdown.

INSTALLATION HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER
CUT PIPE SQUARE
Cut the pipe square. It is essential that the outside diameter be free of score marks and that burrs and sharp edges be removed before inserting into fitting.
PUSH UP TO PIPE STOP
Push the pipe into the fitting, to the pipe stop. The collet (gripper) has stainless steel teeth which hold the tube firmly in position whilst the O-ring provides a permanent leak proof seal.
PULL TO CHECK SECURE
Pull on the pipe to check it is secure. It is good practice to test the system prior to leaving site and/or before use.
DISCONNECTING
PUSH IN COLLET AND REMOVE PIPE
To disconnect ensure the system is depressurised before removing fitting. Push in collet squarely against face of fitting. With the collet held in this position, the pipe can be removed.
The fitting can then be re-used.
